Last updated October 13, 2026

Heron Dispatch is owned and operated by Trenton Hoyt LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use herondispatch.com and the Heron Dispatch service, and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (stored in protected, encrypted form).
  • Contact form details: name, email, organization and message.
  • Brand materials you give us: logos, colors, voice, topics and your website address.
  • Public content from your website, which we read to write your posts.
  • Social account connections: when you connect Facebook, Instagram or Threads, we receive an access permission from Meta, plus the names and IDs of the Pages and accounts you choose to connect.
  • Posts we create for you, their images, schedules and publishing results.

How we use it

  • To write, design, schedule and publish posts to the social accounts you connected.
  • To let you and your Trenton Hoyt team review and approve posts.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To keep the service secure and working properly.

We only post to the Pages and accounts you choose. We do not read your private messages, and we do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Information from Meta

Data we receive from Facebook, Instagram and Threads is used only to publish and manage your posts. It is handled according to Meta's Platform Terms. You can disconnect at any time inside Heron Dispatch or in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help run Heron Dispatch, such as our hosting, database and AI writing and image providers, and with the social networks you ask us to post to. We may also share information when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer. See our data deletion instructions.

Security

Your information is stored with access controls so each client sees only its own account. Connection keys are kept on our servers and are never shown in your browser.

Children

Heron Dispatch is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
